NEWS: Journal of AI and Humanities (JOAIH) is now accepting new papers for  Issue 2, 2024.

Welcome to the Journal of AI and the Humanities, a platform that signifies a new approach to issues that combine artificial intelligence and the arts. Nowadays, with the rapid technological transformations of the world, the offering of AI into the academic field of humanities provides us with an unparalleled opportunity for fresh ideas and lines of thought, for the improvement of criticism, and for the promotion of team projects across various disciplines.

Our journal seeks to create a linkage between technology and the humanities that involves an engaged discussion of the profound influence of AI upon human thought, ethics, philosophy, history, linguistics, and the arts. We plan for the AI Humanities journal to play this role by offering original research, critical essays, as well as captivating case studies to show how AI applications can help us understand the otherness of the human social experience, the cultural manifestations as well as the ethical and societal concern arising from these technological developments.

The Journal of AI and Humanities tries to create a forum for the community of scholars, researchers, and professionals from all corners of the world to efficiently share their findings and viewpoints. We welcome contributions on AI's role to safeguarding cultural heritages, the AI-generated text that is being used in the digital humanities, AI ethics regarding design, and the ethical or philosophical questions related to AI. By this method, it believes to revive the minds by creating new methods of approaching the issues, and the community would be the leader in the research of AI in humanities.

We are about to set out on this journey, and welcome you to become part of our exploration of the fundamental transformations that the human sciences are going through. A cooperative endeavor can bring forward deeper reflections on the role of technology in shaping human existence, ensuring that the relations of AI are guided by insight, creative force, and ethical considerations.

Journal of AI and the Humanities - a platform with the power to bring science and the human issue together.

All articles will have a digital object identifier (DOI). DOIs are standardized digital identities used across all major scientific publishers. DOIs can be used to cite and link to electronic articles. A DOI is guaranteed to never change, so can be used as a persistent identifier to permanently link to an electronic article no matter where it is stored. So, when referring to an article you can either use the traditional reference information (name of publication, volume, issue, etc.), or use the DOI.

We strive to have our journal Frontiers in Economics and Management (FEM) indexed by all main databases. The Abstracting and Indexing databases that cover FEM will be coming soon such as Google Scholar, CNKI, Airiti Library, etc.

Accordingly, authors' submissions to the Journal of AI and Humanities are expected to maintain the highest level of virtue and ethicality throughout all the stages in the publication process. They shall show that their work is the outcome of their original thinking, adequately supported with correct references, and not inappropriately using others' work and ideas. Authorship should correspond with a substantial role in all phases of the research, from design to realization, analysis, or re-interpretation, with all the authors of the final manuscript having read and permitted it to be republished and submitted for publication. The authenticity and validity of data are the responsibility of the authors, who have to keep the raw data to substantiate this if the editors and reviewers require it, as well as for a specified time after the publication.

An author's confirmation that he or she has no competing interests, be it financial or other concerns that could interfere with the presentation or identification of the manuscript, is obligatory. Upon that, the authors have the responsibility of acknowledging the funders of the study and stating the contributions made. Any scientific research involving either human or animal subjects is required to comply with ground-level ethical requirements, which usually include the mandatory submission of precise institutional consents for the use of human participants. Researchers should ensure the objectivity and provide the exact data of their findings with an unbiased discussion of their importance persuasively. In case of verifying the fact that they have made an error or deficiency in the research work they have published with the editors of the journal, it is a must for the authors to be quick to call to action and actively take part in the retractions or modifications of the paper if necessary.

It is important for the authors to make sure that their manuscripts are not reused in published or submission form somewhere else, so that no counterpart publications or plagiarism emerge. Authors shall comply with the principles of peer-review confidentiality and shall not misuse their acquired information from the peer-review process for their own personal gain or anyone else's. Reviewers' comments should be responded to timely and respectfully in order to support a credible review process. In conclusion, these authorship laws allow the researchers to play a better role in maintaining the Journal's authenticity and quality, and thereafter they can aid in the boost of a fake-free, sincere, and scholarly culture at the academic level.
